Herman was welcomed to the lab in February 2023 after being lovingly stitched together by Alice. Herman is the lab's mascot and good luck charm, and loves helping out with long nights at the synchrotron doing x-ray scattering experiments. He enjoys long walks on the beach, wearing comfy sweaters, and hanging out with his froggie friend Percy.
